MISSION & OUTREACH
Have you been in the church on a day when the aromas from above made your mouth water? That would be Terri Klone at work in our kitchen. She has become a partner in our building, using the kitchen for her food truck business. She, along with employee, Alison Boergman make the delicious foods that are at the heart of her business. Her husband, Brandon, who is a long time employee of Lyondell Bassel, manages the finances. Terri and Brandon have 5 grown children and 12 grandchildren.
Terri recently ran the DeWitt hospital kitchen, but when so many people began asking her to cater their events, she decided to take her cooking talents on the road—literally—by purchasing a food truck. Because the state insists that she have a licensed kitchen to prepare her foods, she uses our kitchen, making agreed upon donations to the church as she goes. She says she loves feeding people and making them happy, and her goal is to have her own restaurant someday. Terri is looking forward to preparing a meal for our congregation. See the following article. Yay!
