What does Ministry look like at First United Presbyterian Church?
Small, but devoted and strong, First United Presbyterian Church has been planted on this downtown corner of Clinton, Iowa since 1928 to live forth our relationship to Christ and to invite others –ALL OTHERS--to know the joy of this journey of faith. We are called to share the many blessings God has provided, including our beautiful, historic building, our financial gifts and our friendship in the name of Jesus Christ.
We seek to live these commitments by:
1. Joyfully worshipping and opening wide our doors for ALL to join us.
2. Making our very large and handicap accessible building, which also has ample parking, available to area groups and ministries.
3. Generously offering ourselves and our gifts to bless others, near and far.
4. Participating with other congregations and agencies to make Christ’s love a recognized blessing in people’s lives.
We invite you to join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM for worship. Make sure to save some time to stay and have a cup of coffee with us following worship!
