Mission and Outreach
Mexican Student Scholarships sponsor young men and women just across the border through the Mexican Children's Refuge. We have been privileged to sponsor several students through high school and college. We enjoy their letters and watching them grow in their classwork and their faith.
Christmas in July -- Donations will be taken instead of actual items on request from the school system. Donations are made to the four Clinton Grade schools and the middle school for school supplies
Pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House are collected here by members and friends to send to Iowa City and Des Moines locations.
Our Mitten Tree collects handmade or store bought scarves, hats, mittens and gloves during the Advent season. These are then take to local agencies for distribution.
Poinsettias are sent to some of our senior members each year or those recovering from illness.
"The Gathering Place” Where Seniors Shine" is open each Thursday from 1:00 to 4:00. Check out more about this new ministry here"
